SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND CSR

ACTIA was built and is developing on strong values that ensure its sustainability

TO INVEST IN THE FUTURE

The ACTIA Group integrates its Sustainable Development and CSR policy at the heart of its corporate identity and the very definition of its business. ACTIA is an independent mid-sized company, majority owned by family shareholders. Since its creation in 1986, ACTIA has been investing in the future by working to perpetuate its model and the different pillars that build its value: the teams, a strong industrial footprint, an international dimension rich in local roots, and innovation as a driving force. Through its activities, ACTIA contributes to the development of a connected, sustainable and safe mobility by taking care to respect the balance of the ecosystems that host this mobility.

ACTIA'S SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND CSR POLICY IS BASED ON :

A SOCIAL MODEL THAT RESPECTS TEAMS AND THEIR DEVELOPMENT

The talents within the Group are the driving force behind ACTIA’s performance. « Taking care of our teams is an essential part of the ACTIA social model. The programs implemented in this context cover a wide range of issues such as support and development of knowledge, diversity and professional equality, the fight against discrimination, prevention of psychosocial risks, and Quality of Life at work.
The strength of this social model enabled us to deal with the Covid-19 health crisis by ensuring the continuity of our activities on the industrial sites while prioritizing the health and safety of our teams.
Taking this human dimension into account structures the dynamic developed by ACTIA in its Factory of the Future and is an essential part of the World Class Manufacturing industrial performance program.

A RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS MODEL FOR ALL ITS STAKEHOLDERS

Whether in the context of solutions offered to its customers or in its relations with its suppliers, ACTIA is developing a responsible business model.
Committed to sustainable mobility, concerned about the safety of people and respect for the entire ecosystem, ACTIA knows how to act throughout the life cycle of its products to ensure their durability and optimize their recycling at the end of their life and analyzes the compliance of its products (RoHS requirements, REACh, IMDS, RISL, specific customer lists, Conflict Minerals, Export Control, etc.).
This is in particular the meaning of the missions of the electronic services.
ACTIA’s Supplier Quality Manual incorporates the Group’s rules on Social Responsibility. Quality and sustainability are thus the two main criteria for selecting, qualifying and classifying the Group’s suppliers.

AN ENVIRONMENTAL MODEL ADAPTED TO OUR ACTIVITIES

ACTIA favors eco-design in its developments. The control of environmental resources, waste management (reduction and recycling), the development of paperless processes, and compliance with RoHS and REACh requirements in industrial processes are integrated into the various ISO 14001-certified production sites (link to the industrial tool page).

TRANSPARENCY AND SHARING AT THE SERVICE OF OUR VALUES

Integrity and ethics as the foundation of the company guarantee these models. They are supported by an Ethics Charter and an Anti-Corruption Code shared by all group entities.
ACTIA’s Gaia 2020 index is 47/230. The Gaia index is the benchmark stock market index for medium-sized companies in terms of sustainable development. 230 French SMEs and SMIs are evaluated and ranked according to their degree of involvement in extra-financial transparency and CSR performance (governance, human capital, environment and stakeholder relations).
